6th edition of the Young Researchers' Days

For ten years now, the Young Researchers Days (J2C) have been an unmissable scientific event for doctoral students at the Energy, Materials, Earth and Universe Sciences (EMSTU) doctoral school - University of Orleans, University of Tours and INSA Centre-Val de Loire. The topics explored reflect the diversity of research conducted within the doctoral school, ranging from the design and structuring of surfaces and interfaces to the study of their electrical, magnetic, mechanical, and optical properties, as well as their reactivity, at the micro- and nanometric scales.

The 6th edition of the J2C, organized in 2026, will focus on the theme: “Science and sustainability: energy, materials, and climate challenges.” These days will offer young researchers the opportunity to present their work, compare their ideas, and foster interdisciplinary exchanges in a stimulating environment. They aim to promote dialogue and collaboration, paving the way for new research perspectives in the service of a sustainable future. The conference will be held on March 26 and 27, 2026, at the Turing Amphitheater, Polytech Galilée, University of Orleans.

This conference is open to all doctoral students and young researchers in the Centre-Val de Loire region. They are invited to present their research work, which may not be closely related to the theme of the conference. All PhD students are strongly encouraged to participate, even without a presentation.

Call for volunteers still open!!!
